
Aruvi Waterfalls:- The beautiful Aruvi waterfalls are located at a distance of 60 km from Thiruvananthapuram and 7 km from Bonecaud estate in the Peppara forest range. Prior permission from the forest department is required before approaching the area which is the most verdant and untouched spots in Kerala. Kanni tribesmen accompany the trekkers along the mountain path.
Kombaikani and Meenmutti Waterfalls:- These are two magnificent waterfalls are located on the upper reaches of the Neyyar Reservoir. A trek of 2 km through dense forests, would take one to Meenmutti waterfalls and a further 2 km trek leads towards Kombaikani waterfalls. Trekking towards these waterfalls is quite a thrilling experience for the visitors.
Mankayam Waterfalls:- Situated at a distance of 45 km northeast of Thiruvananthapuram Mankayam waterfalls falls under Peringamala area of Palode in Nedumangad Taluk of Thiruvananthapuram. Rising from the hill ranges of Chemunchi, the River Chittar flowing down creates a tributary in the form of Mankayam River that produces two spectacular waterfalls at Kalakayam and Kurisadi that offer excellent spot for bathing and camping.
