Wayanad Waterfalls

Chethalayam Waterfalls:- Chethalayam Waterfalls is a small waterfall near Soojippara waterfalls which is located at a distance of 12 km from Sultan Bathery. One has to cros the trk of 4 km from Chethalayam for having a glimpse of this lovely waterfall.

Kanthanpara Waterfalls:- Situated at the height of 30 m the waterfall gives panoramic views to the visitors. It is located 12 km southeast of Kalpetta. The waterfall is surrounded by beautiful tea gardens makes it an ideal place for day long picnics. The nearest Airport is at Calicut Airport and nearest rail head is at Kozhikode.

Meenmutty Waterfalls:- The cascading waterfalls located at a distance of 29 km from Kalpetta in Wayanad district of Kerala. It is the second largest most spectacular and unspoiled waterfalls of Kerala. The waterfall has a three tiers falls from the height of 300 m. The path is quiet dangerous and tiresome but the beauty of the waterfall is worthy of it. It is located 12kms east of Meppadi.

Sentinal Rock Water Fall:- Sentinal Rock which is locally known as Soochipara is situated in Vellarimala Village near Meppadi south of Chooramala in Wayaanad. The falls can be reached by 2 km walk into the dense equatorial forests which falls from the height of 200 m. Other major attractions of or near by waterfalls are at Chethalayam, Kanthanpara and Meenmutty. Visitors here can also enjoy swimming, river rafting or bathing etc. It is also an ideal place for rock climbing.
